About Dr. Mol

Dr Mol has a special interest with regards hearing repair and nasal reconstruction,. He has been in private practice for 16 years, and founded the Microtia & Atresia group in South Africa. Dr. Mol was one of the first in the world to implant a single sided deafness patient with a Cochlea Implant using a hearing preservation technique for isolated high frequency hearing loss. He presents numerous courses around the country and internationally and has published several research papers. He is actively involved in teaching & training within the ENT and associated professions. Dr. Mol offers the only complete hearing service for Microtia and Atresia in South Africa.

About Dr. Van Wyk

Dr van Wyk has a special interest in functional nasal reconstruction and sinus surgery. He has been in private practice for 8 years, and co-founded the Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons of South Africa. He has presented numerous courses around the country and internationally. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has published several research papers. He is actively involved in teaching & training within the ENT and associated professions. Dr. van Wyk is also board certified in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery by the International Board for Certification in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery

About Dr. Rossouw

Dr Rossouw’s 39 year career in the medical industry includes both public and private sector experience. He qualified at the University of Pretoria in 1979 (MBChB); spent 4 years in the surgical department in Polokwane after which he spent 3 years as General Practitioner in Amersfoort.

Dr Rossouw specialized in ENT surgery at the University of Pretoria, attended numerous local and international conferences, courses and workshops. The Garden City Clinic has been “home” to Dr Rossouw for the past 29 years, where he operates with his own team of dedicated scrub sisters;
floor nurses and anaethatists (Dr A. Greeff and Dr P. de Wet). Dr Rossouw and his team have vast experience and special interest in hearing related problems and the surgical correction thereof, including cochlear implant surgery (CI).
